CarSwipe Ltd (CarSwipe Ltd) operates CarSwipe as an online intermediary platform connecting buyers and sellers of used vehicles in the United Kingdom. By using carswipe.io or this website, you agree to these terms.

Platform role

CarSwipe is a facilitator only. We are not a seller, dealer, auctioneer, or party to any transaction between users. All sales, viewings, payments for vehicles, and handovers occur directly between buyer and seller unless explicitly stated otherwise.

User accounts

• You must be 18 or over and provide accurate information.
• Sellers must complete ID verification before listing.
• Dealerships must complete our verification process before listing.
• We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or applicable law.

Listings and content

• You must own or have authority to sell any vehicle you list.
• Listings must accurately describe the vehicle, including insurance write-off category where applicable.
• We may remove listings that are misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful.

Fees

Browsing is free. Subscription tiers, boosts, and selling fees are described on our pricing page. Selling fees apply only when a sale is completed via the platform as defined in-app.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, CarSwipe is not liable for vehicle condition, title disputes, misrepresentation by users, or losses arising from offline transactions. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Disputes

Users should attempt to resolve disputes directly. CarSwipe may offer a mediation window (typically 7 days) before parties pursue other remedies. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
